Once installed the new kits turns the normally time consuming endeavor of adjusting the front limiter into an easy 30 second task. Taking the job from something that is usually set and left for the season to one that can be used as a terrific tuning device. It allows owners to adjust their ski pressure up or down to tailor the front end weight of their sled to actual condition. Paul Kahtava, the company’s lead technician / development rider said, “It’s really a straight forward application where the fixed end is attached to the upper rear cross-shaft and adjustment are made at the very accessible lower front arm pivot.
There is a threaded adjuster that extends in and out of the clevis bracket that goes over the lower front arm housing. The adjuster simply draws the lower front arm pivot either up or down depending on its locked position. The new bracket works with with three sets of holes in the existing limiter strap making for very fine or wide range adjustments. To adjust you simply crack the lock nut and speed wrench the adjuster up or down.”
