2011 XP-RARE (Rev Air Ride Excellence) ride kits
Eveleth, Minn. -- TeamFAST.com, the suspension technology specialists, has grouped together two of their hottest products into two suspension packages specifically tuned for the XP line. There are two different kits, each being specific to the 120” and 137” track lengths of the Ski-doo REV XP and Ski-doo Renegade REV XP-XR platforms.
“With so many riders lining up behind the REV XP platform we felt it prudent to put a substantial effort into that segment. We feel from a ride quality standpoint that the XPs slipped just a bit behind the 06 and 07 Revs, which presents a great opportunity. Its widely known that owners have overwhelming approved of the new version REV introduced in 2008, enjoying the much improved cornering characteristics and reduction in rider stress in the areas of the thighs and calves that has resulted from the new cockpit arrangement. TeamFAST believes that new technology always presents new challenges and they say their new XP-RARE (Rev Air Ride Excellence) package overcomes the inherent ride quality issues that the max rider forward position and lighter weight present. TeamFAST states that with the combined mass concentrated so far ahead that there is only limited static and significantly reduced dynamic loading of the rear arm and that the skis suspensions are doing more work than ever. The increased distance between the rider and the rear of the slide rails reportedly has a large influence, such that the 120” and 137” track lengths have completely different airspring, valving, and bumpstop tuning.
